Job Description Accounting Manager (Commission Payouts, Fees and Brokerage) - Chicago, IllinoisADM Investor Services, Inc.This is a full-time, exempt position.Position Summary:The primary role of the Accounting Manager is to supervise and oversee the commission payouts, brokerage (give-up) and fee processes Team, supervise and assist with the preparation of daily and monthly schedules and reconciliations supporting financial controls and reporting, assistance with periodic audits, and collaborate with other departments on ad hoc projects. The Accounting Manger will report directly to the SVP CFO and collaborate with the Controller and FP&A Finance Director.Job Responsibilities:Manage and supervise the Commission Payout and Brokerage (give-up) and Fee Team of 4Oversee monthly processing of commission payouts to brokers and independent contractorsOversee exchange and clearing fee revenue and fee static data maintenance and reconciliation, fee payable and receivablesManage brokerage (give-up) receivables and payables toward timely invoicing, collection and paymentReview monthly payout computations for accuracy and completenessBackup, support and assist Team with daily and monthly tasksCollaborate with commercial leaders on commission and fee setup and maintenanceSupervise preparation of
daily and monthly account reconciliationsAssist with preparing and gathering data during auditsPrepare revenue and expense analysis and expense accrualsOther general accounting tasksJob Requirements:Experience in the futures industry as an accounting supervisor or managerBachelor's degree in Accounting10 years accounting experience with 3 years or more managing staffStrong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skillsProficient in using Microsoft OfficePrevious experience collaborating with management and reporting financial resultsPromotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
