Job DescriptionTo perform various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings and equipment.Ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations following Supervisors' instructions.Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments.General knowledge of various types of equipment used in the building trades.Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions.Ability to read and write and to follow instructions, given either orally or in writing.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.Ability to lift up to 75#. Some tasks my require individual to bend, twist, and lift awkwardly. Some tasks my require individual to crawl into tight areas. The ability to prepare accurate records for emergency work order forms.Perform related work as required.Follow all GMP s (Good Manufacturing Practices).Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.Work in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to the management, ASAP.Any other duties to maintain the operation of the plant, as needed.
