Job Description:

The Accounting Shared Services Manager will supervise staff accountants and specialists and ultimately be responsible for their activities, including quality and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
--- Provide necessary staff training to complete work product.
--- Assure internal control compliance.
--- Manage, review, and consistently improve payroll, AR, and AP processes
--- Assist with yearly audit preparation.
--- Prepare hedge gain/loss actual/mark-to-market entries.
--- Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity analysis.
--- Assist with yearly 401(k) audit.
--- Assist with yearly 401(k) compliance testing.
--- Administer and execute treasury related matters.
o System Administrator for bank website - user rights and access, maintain security.
o Responsible for changes to all bank accounts - include setup of new accounts.
o Perform daily banking activities and cash management duties.
o Determine amounts to borrow and paydown.
o Monitor LIBOR renewals.
--- Manage Accounts Receivable
o Manage/Prepare sales accrual entries.
o Manage/Prepare sales commission entries.
o Manage invoice of customers.
o Perform credit checks and manage customer credit limits.
o Perform collection tasks on past due invoices.
o Oversee revenue recognition.
o Prepare/Distribute AR Aging
o Prepare/Distribute Weekly Invoice Summary
--- Manage accounts payable.
o Manage/maintain concur.
o Manage/maintain OnBase.
o Ensure timely payment and special terms are taken advantage of
o Review weekly Check and ACH Payment Runs
--- Manage Payroll
o Review/prepare monthly payroll entries.
o Manage quarterly tax filings and Kronos payroll audits.
o Manage weekly payroll.
o Manage filing of W-2s and year end reports.
o Assist with issue that arise in payroll and other payroll matters.

Qualifications
--- Education: Four-year degree in accounting, finance, or similar field.
--- Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years' experience
o Preferred 10+ years of experience
o Preferred experience in shared services role with exposure to AR/AP/Payroll
--- Licenses/Certifications:
--- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
o Must be a strong manager capable of understanding comprehensive accounting processes, in multiple areas, while leading/training team members in those processes.
o Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
o Ability to lead or assist with multiple different tasks relating to various areas of Accounting.
