Job Description American Traveler is seeking a School
Psychologist with early childhood assessment experience and a valid
PEL license for an in-person, full-time assignment covering an FMLA
leave. Responsibilities Position is based in a school setting
serving Pre-K/Early Childhood students Full-time, in-person Monday
through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm with a 30-minute
duty-free lunch Role covers the duration of an FMLA leave from
August 11, 2025 to December 1, 2025 Responsibilities include
leading weekly child find team meetings, participating in MTSS, and
screening 40-50 students using Play-Based Assessment Expected to
complete 10-15 full case studies during the assignment Responsible
for screening, assessment, and case studies of students
transitioning from early intervention programs Leads weekly
meetings to review screening information and participates in
classroom-related referrals Will address new domains and
participate in MTSS as needed Fingerprints and background check
required prior to start The team may include other child find
professionals and educators Requirements Active School Psychologist
credential and PEL license from ISBE required Experience with
Linder’s Play-Based Assessment Proven ability to work with young
children and strong understanding of child development Must be
in-state and compliant prior to start for fingerprinting and
results must be on file Resume required for consideration License
