Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Develop, edit,
and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling, turning, and
multi spindle machines. Determine tooling, workholding,
speeds/feeds, and machining strategies for new and existing parts.
Support setup personnel during machine setups, first-piece
validation, and troubleshooting. Lead or contribute to process
improvement projects aimed at reducing cycle time, improving
quality, and increasing machine utilization. Coordinate machining
activities across multiple machines and operators to maintain
workflow and meet production schedules. Interpret engineering
drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications to ensure accurate
part production. Conduct root-cause analysis for machining issues
and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate documentation
for programs, revisions, and processes. Essential Skills Proficient
at programming using Mastercam 2019 or similar. Ability to set-up
jobs in the most effective and efficient manner. A high degree of
flexibility to quickly shift tasks as priorities demand. Must be
able to consistently hold tolerances of /- .002”. Ability to mentor
others. 3–5 years of CNC programming experience in a precision
machining environment. Proficiency in Mastercam (milling & turning
modules). Hands-on experience with multi spindle or multi axis CNC
equipment. Strong experience in both milling and turning
operations. Proven experience leading or supporting continuous
improvement and process optimization initiatives. Strong
understanding of machining fundamentals, GD&T, tooling, and
quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire
position based out of Frankfort, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range
for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements
