Essential duties and Responsibilities
Participates in the development of community education or promotional program in the rehabilitation field annually

Assists in the development of new services or programs

Performs thorough and timely electronic documentation.

Strengths in care delivery as evidenced by peer review feedback; consistently demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment techniques.

Participates actively in the PI and CQI process.

Assists in the orientation and training of new staff members.

Participates in cost savings initiatives in the department.

Performs chart audits for peer partners

Takes an active role in performance appraisal process. Acts as a clinical instructor or mentor for students and works to continually improve the clinical education program.

Level II physical therapist will maintain a high standard of patient care and provide effective communication between physical therapists and physician group.

Plans and conducts lectures and training programs on occupational therapy and related topics for medical staff, students, and community groups.

Education and Experience
Degree in Physical Therapy
Certifications/Licensure
Current CPR certification.
License to practice Physical Therapy in Wisconsin, Illinois, or both if required
Special Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to talk and/or hear; stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb and/or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 up to 50 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move 50 up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
