(Physician/MD qualifications required) Wound Care - Supervisory Physician Janesville, WI
Looking for Physician to join our medical practice part time in Janesville, WI providing supervisory services. This position is an oversight position, with minimal hours, overseeing the Nurse Practitioner who provides wound care services within facilities in Jefferson and Clinton, WI and with minimal need to provide onsite care. We need a compassionate Physician, who enjoys helping others, and is experienced in the field of wound care. Looking for a Family Practice-Primary Care, General Surgeon, and-or Physician with wound care experience preferred.
Job Description:
Available by phone to communicate with NP-team relating to patient care
Travel to location-s only necessary for difficult cases or on as needed basis
Access to EHR system to review notes, sign documentation and provide treatment recommendations as needed
Demonstrates competency in the position of wound care including assessment, debridement, wound dressings, skin substitutes and other treatment as needed
Requirements:
Previous wound care experience preferred, however experience in either Primary Care, General Surgery or a specialty program will be considered
General Surgery pre-post operative knowledge preferred
Current Medical License in the state of WI
Compensation (range):
$2k per month
