Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/04/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Location: Rockford, IL Duration: 13 Weeks Shift Type: 12-Hour Day Shifts Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Job Description: - Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans - Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policy and physician directives - Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses - Provide education and emotional support to patients and families - Support performance improvement activities and departmental initiatives - Demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication during emergencies - Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and ethical nursing standards Requirements: - Active Illinois RN license - BLS Certification - ACLS - NIHSS Note: “We are an equal opportunity employer.
