Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with ARRT(R) certification and experience in cardiac cath, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities - Work in a cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology setting - Involvement with cardiac cath, electrophysiology, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and left atrial appendage closure procedures - Day shift position with 1-2 on-call shifts per week and 1 weekend on-call shift per month - Includes on-call responsibilities for weeknights, weekends, and holidays - Responsible for preparing patients and equipment using sterile technique and ensuring integrity of sterile supplies - Monitors and records procedural data, maintaining accurate event logs - Advocates for and adheres to radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff - Documents fluoroscopy time and radiation dosages, ensuring compliance with safety standards Requirements - Current and active ARRT(R) certification required - BLS certification required - Graduate of an accredited radiology program - State licensure must be active if applicable - ACLS and PALS certifications required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-608514.
