Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT(MRI) certification and BLS for a 12-hour day shift position. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital and trauma center within the diagnostic imaging department - 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with combinations of 8 and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week - Every 3rd Saturday weekend rotation required - Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation - Patient population includes diverse inpatient and outpatient cases - Operate magnetic resonance imaging systems, surface coils, and physiologic gating equipment - Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation - Select pulse sequences and operate MRI equipment per protocol - Prepare and instruct patients for procedures, ensure safety, and administer contrast media as needed - Provide patient care during procedures and maintain accurate records in PACS and radiology information systems - Participate in multidisciplinary team activities and support quality patient care initiatives - Facility may require flexibility with work hours to meet departmental needs - Facility reserves the right to refuse or terminate assignments for cause Requirements - Graduate of an accredited radiography program - Experience as an MRI Technologist required - Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(MRI) certifications required - Current BLS or equivalent CPR certification required - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-594360.
