Ability to float to other in-patient units or facilities due to
census Description: We are seeking an experienced registered nurse
for our skilled nursing units. The candidate must have a current
Wisconsin and Illinois license and CPR certification. The nurse may
be asked to float to other in-patient units or facilities due to
patient census. The schedule will rotate between weekday and
weekend shifts. This is a full-time equivalent position with day
shifts from 0630 to 1900. The registered nurse will utilize the
nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
in caring for patients. They will administer prescribed medications
and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques,
policies, procedures, and state laws. The nurse will document
according to standards of care. They will develop, initiate, and
execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized
needs of the patient as prescribed by a physician and/or hospital
policy, including patient and family instruction. The registered
nurse will participate in department or unit performance
improvement activities, which may include shared governance. They
will utilize clinical expertise and guidance to support the
patient's longitudinal plan of care across other units or
departments. Critical thinking in regard to patient safety and
patient experience will be essential, and the nurse should
appropriately escalate concerns to the appropriate chain of
command. Holiday coverage will be required. Requirements Required
