Job Description:
Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS)
seeks a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator to join our team to
provide and coordinate comprehensive mental health services,
aligning with our mission of promoting health, healing, and hope.
The ideal candidate will bring a compassionate approach to
facilitating programs that address mental health needs, providing
support and making a meaningful difference within the community.
This position plays a pivotal role in implementing our mental
health initiatives, assessing community mental health needs, and
developing strategies to meet those needs effectively. Develop and
implement mental health programs and services for community
members. Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and
other stakeholders to facilitate comprehensive support and care.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify community mental
health needs and the effectiveness of programs. Provide crisis
intervention services as needed. Organize training and workshops
for staff and community members on mental health issues. Prepare
and manage the budget for mental health programs. Knowledge of
mental health systems and interventions Ability to develop and
implement comprehensive treatment plans Strong organizational and
leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Crisis management abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or
equivalent preferred CPR and First Aid certification Any relevant
mental health service or crisis intervention certifications
