Job Description:
Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS)
is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Coordinator to enhance our
community services portfolio. As a valued member of our team, the
Mental Health Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing
and overseeing mental health programs that support individuals and
families in crisis, focusing on providing essential therapy and
community-based resources. This role requires a strategic thinker
with a passion for community welfare, capable of managing multiple
projects in a dynamic, compassionate, and innovative environment.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in mental health
interventions, program development, and a team-centric approach to
holistic community care. Oversee the day-to-day operations of
mental health programs, ensuring effective service delivery aligns
with organizational goals. Develop, implement, and evaluate program
initiatives and activities that promote mental wellness within the
community. Train, supervise, and mentor staff and volunteers in
delivering high-quality mental health services. Collaborate with
community leaders, stakeholders, and other agencies to promote
mental health awareness and create comprehensive support systems.
Monitor program budgets and resources to ensure fiscal
responsibility. Prepare reports and analytics to assess program
effectiveness and inform strategic decisions. Stay abreast of
developments in mental health practices and integrate innovative
approaches in program offerings. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication
