RN)/n/nShift Options: 7A–7P or 7P–7A/n/nScheduling: Block
scheduling (manager-built)/n/nWeekend Requirement: Every 3rd
weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun)/n/nHoliday Requirement: Every 3rd holiday
(major winter holidays expected)/n/nOn-Call: No scheduled call; may
be placed on call if no inpatients
(rotated)/n/nCertifications/n/nRequired: BLS, ACLS,
PALS/n/nStrongly Preferred: TNCC, NRP, ENPC/n/nFacility

dedicated triage nurse)/n/nED Holds: Mixed within ED; transfers to
Weston or Marshfield/n/nPsych Rooms: No/n/nSecurity: No onsite
security; panic button linked to 911/n/nStaffing & Ratios/n/nNurse
Ratios: 1:3–4/n/nStaffing:/n/n2 RNs in-house (3 on Mon/Tue/Fri;
additional as needed)/n/n1 ED Provider 24/7 PA (Mon–Sat,
8A–8P)/n/n1 ED Tech/HUC 24/7 (labs, IVs, EKGs, patient
care)/n/nSkills & Experience/n/nExperience Required:/n/n1 year ED
in CAH/similar setting or/n/n2 years ED experience if first-time
traveler/n/nMust be comfortable with limited resources/n/nMust be
willing to flex to inpatient Med/Surg (unit opening
later)/n/nCommon Drips: Heparin, Diltiazem/n/nTele: GE monitors –
RNs read own strips/n/nRT: No onsite RT – RN assists with
intubation, vents, BiPAP/CPAP/n/nDiagnostics/n/nX-ray & CT: 24/7
(self-transport)/n/nMRI: Mobile unit (limited ED
use)/n/nUltrasound: POC available/n/nLabs: Drawn by
RN/Techs/n/nFloating/n/nRequired to work ED and inpatient unit
(when opened – 10 beds)/n/nPossible support shifts at Stevens Point
(same-size facility)/n/nDress Code/n/nScrubs: Solid color (likely
Navy Blue; not mandatory yet)/n/nOrientation/n/n3 full ED shifts in
Stevens Point prior to opening/n/nMandatory CBTs and paperwork
during first week/n/nLocal Rate/n/nLocal defined as within 80
