Job Description UW Health is seeking a Physician Assistant Internal Medicine for a job in Stoughton, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Internal Medicine - Discipline: Physician Assistant - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 100% FTE, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No holidays or call. /n Be part of something remarkable /n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. /n We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to: /n /n - Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team. /n - Conduct routine physical exams. /n - Conduct focused health histories and physical exams of patients with acute and/or chronic health problems. /n - Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing. /n - Establish a working diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. /n - Prescribe medications and/or treatment and monitor patient’s response. /n - Prescribe and treat within the full scope of primary care /n /n Education: /n If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program. /n If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. /n Licenses and Certifications: /n Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure /n If Nurse Practitioner*: /n /n - Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND /n - Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
