Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Madison, WI Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,415 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Wisconsin Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Evening/Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 8 or 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday rotation required Highlights: Work in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma Center ranked 1 in Wisconsin Autonomy and flexibility across multiple critical care units including Trauma, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU Academic teaching environment with opportunities for professional growth and shared governance 13-week travel assignment with approximately 28 hours of orientation Epic EMR system with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, IV teams, and pharmacy High-acuity patient population with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at submittal) Minimum 2 years of acute care ICU experience within the last 3 years Previous experience in multiple ICU settings (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.) Level 1 Academic Trauma Center experience required Successfully completed travel assignment (13 weeks minimum) Epic experience required; experience within the last 12 months preferred BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY Basic arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry test prior to start date Willingness to float to IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility 5 years of RN experience preferred; previous charge experience preferred Preferred Skills and Certifications: TNCC and NIHSS certifications Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, arterial lines, pulmonary artery lines, CRRT/CVVHD Experience with central venous pressure monitoring, external ventricular drains, and ICP monitoring Ventilator management, high-flow nasal cannula, and ABG interpretation Cardiac drip and vasoactive drip titration experience Post-cardiac surgery, post-craniotomy, and traumatic brain injury management Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join the top-ranked hospital in Wisconsin and be part of a Magnet-certified, Level 1 Trauma Center that serves as one of the nation's leading teaching institutions and referral centers.
