Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro ICU – Wisconsin Start Date: February
23, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Evening/Night shifts,
12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and some
holidays required Highlights: 18-bed Neuroscience ICU within a
Magnet-designated facility and Comprehensive Stroke Center 2:1
patient ratio across all shifts providing focused, specialized
critical care Epic EMR system (experience within the last 12 months
preferred) 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation
program Specialization in stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage,
traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-neurosurgery
care Advanced critical care interventions including ICP monitoring,
external ventricular drains, hemodynamic monitoring, and
hypothermia protocols Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or
valid Compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand
at time of application) Minimum two years of acute care experience
within the last three years in Neuro ICU or critical care specialty
Successfully completed at least one travel assignment (13 weeks
minimum) Required experience with ICP monitoring or ventricular
drains BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart
Association only Basic arrhythmia experience and ability to pass
telemetry competency exam prior to start Epic charting system
experience required (preferably within last 12 months) Permanent
address must be 50 miles or more from the facility Trauma Level I
