Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lake Geneva, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,150 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Current state License Certifications: CPR/BLS, Vaccination for Flu required Must-Have: - Current state License - CPR/BLS certification - Vaccination for Flu Description: We are seeking experienced nurses. The candidates must have a current state License and CPR/BLS. The RN must be vaccinated for Flu. Travel nurses may be required to float to other units. This position will require every other weekend and holiday, working 12-hour shifts (Days) from 6:30 AM to 7 PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice acts. Document according to standards of care. Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the Physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilize clinical expertise and provide guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience, and appropriately escalate concerns through the chain of command. Holiday coverage is required.
