License: Must have state RN, LPN/LVN, or CNA license in hand
Certifications: CPI, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with vital signs -
Experience with 4-point restraints - Experience with de-escalation
techniques - Experience leading group therapy preferred
Description: This position involves providing care and support to
adults experiencing acute mental health crises. Applicants must
possess experience with managing assaultive behavior, crisis
intervention, and de-escalation techniques. Candidates should be
familiar with medication side effects and isolation procedures.
Experience in behavioral health settings preferred, particularly
with various psychiatric diagnoses. Technicians will be responsible
for obtaining vital signs, conducting patient safety checks, and
using restraints when necessary. Therapeutic communication skills
and behavior management techniques are essential for this role.
Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support staff is
required. The position mandates a focus on stabilization and safety
for all patients. All patients are 18 years old and above.
Completion of modules during orientation, specific to the role,
will be required. Some holidays and weekend shifts may be
necessary. Travel experience is a valued asset. Requirements
