Registered Nurse - Ortho/Neuro – UHC Staffing Registered Nurse -
Ortho/Neuro Location: Janesville, WI Start Date: 02-23-2026 End
Date: 05-25-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Night
shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, 12-hour shifts; schedule includes
every other weekend and holiday coverage; rotating night schedule
with potential floats to other units Hours per Week: 36 Candidate

Roles & Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care
using the nursing process and individualized patient plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance
with policies and state law Document patient status and care
clearly and timely according to standards Collaborate with
interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
Develop, initiate and evaluate patient care plans, including
patient and family education Participate in performance improvement
activities and shared governance to improve outcomes Apply critical
thinking to escalate safety concerns and advocate for the patient
Provide clinical support and guidance to other units as needed to
support continuity of care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse
(RN) license in Wisconsin NIHSS certification required Current
CPR/BLS certification Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
as required by the client Willingness to float to other units when
needed Availability for night shifts and every other weekend and
holiday coverage Ortho/Neuro and trauma center experience highly
desired Knowledge & Skills Strong medication administration skills
and safe nursing techniques Proficient use of the nursing process
for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation Excellent
patient care and documentation skills Care planning and
interdisciplinary collaboration to support positive outcomes
Critical thinking and clinical judgment focused on patient safety
Ability to participate in performance improvement and shared
