looking for a Charge Nurse to enrich the lives of our residents.
Position: Charge Nurse (PM Shift) Responsibilities: Must be willing
to work on PM shifts This position develops and implements nursing
services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and
State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure
consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident
rights. Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day,
including the beginning and end of shift. Ensures that residents
are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Participates as a
member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in
planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with
particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services. Education
and/or Experience: Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing
licensure required. Degree from an accredited RN/LPN program.
Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations,
Medicare and Medicaid. Required ability to use desktop/notebook
computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical
equipment. Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
