the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Correctional RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60608! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Correctional
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2
years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg. Correctional
experience preferred. License: Current nursing license required.
Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Med/Surg experience -
Correctional experience preferred - Ability to use rapid
response/code teams - Peripheral line care/management experience -
Wound care, including wound vac management - Knowledge of isolation
precautions/PPE Description: The position is for a registered nurse
specializing in correctional healthcare. The shift is 5x8 hours
from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Every other weekend commitment is
required, with two weekends per month. Requests for time off are
limited to five days maximum, and no more than two consecutive days
off. There will be no time off allowed on holidays or the day
before or after a holiday. This facility requires all staff to
float as needed within a 50-mile radius. All clinicians may be
asked to float outside their home unit. The high-volume medication
pass with scanning and documentation is a key responsibility.
Candidates must provide proof of vaccinations prior to the start
date. Easy responses to compliance documentation requests are
expected. Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting
the assignment. Failure to meet expectations may affect the ability
to continue the assignment. Modules completed as part of onboarding
are non-billable. Any modules completed while on assignment will be
billable. Candidates must be prepared for floating and flexible
