As a Gastroenterology physician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating digestive disorders. Your expertise in performing endoscopic procedures will be essential in providing comprehensive care to our patients. Job Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and esophageal manometries. Interpret diagnostic tests and provide clear and concise explanations to patients. Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care. Practice Details: Outpatient-focused practice with a steady stream of referrals. Convenient Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements. Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for efficient documentation. Supportive administrative and clinical staff to assist with patient care. Located within a Level I trauma center for added patient access. Ideal Candidate: Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Active or ability to obtain Illinois medical license. Proven expertise in performing endoscopic procedures. Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
