Job Description:
Encompass Health's Van Matre Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking
a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. As a leader in
rehabilitative care, we leverage advanced technology and a
patient-centered approach to facilitate the recovery and health of
our patients. The successful candidate will administer nursing care
in a rehabilitation environment under the supervision of a manager,
participate in the formulation of patient care plans, and monitor
patient progress. This role requires strong interpersonal and
clinical skills to deliver exceptional care and support recovery.
Assess patient condition by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and
reactions to treatments. Administer medications, perform
treatments, and assist in procedures as needed. Educate patients
and families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and
other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Develop and implement
nursing care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain up-to-date patient records and coordinate with healthcare
teams to adjust treatment plans as necessary. Advanced patient
assessment skills Proficiency in administering medications and
managing IVs Ability to operate medical equipment Strong
organizational and communication skills Capability to handle
emotional and physical stress Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
