Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Epic experience and FHM/NRP certifications on a night shift schedule. Details - Work in a 12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit with a Level 1 nursery - Unit staffed according to AWHONN staffing guidelines - Patient care includes low-risk L&D, mother/baby, antepartum, and postpartum cases - Skills utilized include NST, reflex checks, external and continuous fetal monitoring, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy/phlebotomy, APGAR scoring, pain management, triage, and emergency care - Epic EMR experience is required - Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - Every third weekend required - Holiday coverage may be required Requirements - Active WI or Compact RN license required - Current certifications required: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred - Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required - Epic EMR experience required - 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration - Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information - Provide comprehensive nursing care across the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum continuum in a Level 1 LDRP setting - Scrubs are provided by the facility - Candidates must be clean-shaven to pass a respirator fit test — CAPRs and PAPRs are not available and personal respiratory devices are not permitted on-site; no exceptions will be made - First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-679328.
