Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in patient care management • May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses • Work every other weekend schedule • 16-hour night block obligation (NBO) • No on-call responsibilities • Work with EPIC electronic medical record system • At least 2 years of previous Med Surg RN experience required • At least 1 travel contract completed required • Must be comfortable with neuro patients and surgical patients within the medical surgical unit • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS • Wisconsin nursing license required • Skills checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission date • Must provide driver's license, work history/resume, license verification, copy of required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference • Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility (local candidates accepted with 10% rate reduction in Madison) Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that provides medical and surgical care services.
