Job Description Hospitalist Opening in Iowa Located in Dubuque,
IA - Bettendorf 70m; Madison, WI 90mFull Time & Permanent
PositionClinic is actively recruiting for a Hospitalist Physician
to join our team in Dubuque, IAClinic is a physician-led, nonprofit
health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary
care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the
area's clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of
hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with
treating chronic conditions. The Clinic team is known for
excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center
of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.
Hospitalist schedule is 7on/7off with 12-hour shifts 14, 12-hour
shifts per month; 7a-7p Each shift staffed with 2 Physicians and 1
APP Team of 6 Physicians and 2 APPs No overnight shifts Epic
EMRResponsibilities: Procedures required Hospitalist is code leader
Average patient census of 15-17 patients Total of 10-15 admissions
per day Blocked scheduling UnityPoint employed Telehospitalist
cover overnights Excellent work/life balanceQualifications: MD or
DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family
Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to
practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state
and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as
necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practiceWe
