Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Surgical Tech specialized in
Labor and Delivery to join our faith-based healthcare team. This
role is pivotal in our mission to provide compassionate,

As part of our healthcare network, you will work in
state-of-the-art facilities alongside top professionals, where your
skills and dedication will support superior patient outcomes and
contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve. Assist in
the setup and preparation of the labor and delivery rooms for
surgical procedures. Sterilize and pass surgical instruments to
physicians during childbirth procedures. Monitor and maintain
sterile conditions throughout surgeries. Prepare patients for
surgery, including positioning and ensuring comfort. Assist with
inventory management of surgical tools and supplies. Collaborate
with doctors, nurses, and other surgical staff to ensure smooth,
efficient procedures. Take part in post-surgery debriefs and
contribute to process improvements. Proficient in sterilization
techniques Knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and
terminology Adept in using surgical and diagnostic equipment Strong
teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to handle stressful and
