SHINE Technologies is immediately seeking a Human Resources Manager
to be responsible for implementing HR policies/programs and
managing employee relations and staffing activities. The HR manager
will focus on recruiting, management, compensation & benefits
administration along with employee retention.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:
Develop strategic recruiting and retention plans by managing the
hiring process, including advertising open positions, reviewing
resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting
reference and background checks, drafting offer letters
Manage the on-boarding process for new employees
Liaise with SHINE's legal counsel to discuss HR-related issues, as
needed
Participate in conducting investigations when employee complaints
or concerns are brought forth.
Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings,
terminations, and investigations.
Provide consultative guidance and coaching to managers and
employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment
with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.
Resolve sensitive and controversial issues with personnel
Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and
procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and
procedures
Ensure management actions conform to employee handbook and labor
laws
Oversee the annual employee review process; Track employee
performance documentation
Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate &
up-to-date
Responsible for managing up-to-date personnel information and files
including personnel transactions such as hires, promotions,
transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
Implement and annually update compensation program; conduct annual
salary surveys and develop merit pool (salary budget); analyze
compensation; monitor performance evaluation program and revise as
necessary
Participate in employee benefits programs with brokers, vendors and
employees including performing benefits administration to include
claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment
and annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness
Complete and submit paperwork to external agencies including
worker's compensation claims, unemployment claims, verification of
employment, etc.
Maintain the organizational staffing chart
Prepare HR reports for management staff
Develop and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1
annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to
EEO regulations
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and ten (10) years' Human Resources experience,
OR any appropriate combination of education and experience
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification
preferred.
Strong leadership, project management & time management skills
Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level
executives.
Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communications skills
Solid business acumen, management reporting and problem-solving
skills
Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft desktop software.
Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant's
ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export
Controls. Additionally, applicant's eligibility may be conditioned
based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements
for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a
pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background
check.
