Job DescriptionPosition SummaryProvides general office support
with a variety of administrative and clerical activities and
related tasks. The HR Assistant will be responsible for greeting
visitors, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of
supplies as well as additional Human Resource duties.Essential
Functions and Responsibilities
- Greets and checks in Visitors/Customers/Contractors/Job
Candidates to the company.
- Administer the on-site visitor procedure by playing safety
video and disclose confidentiality form.
- Supply all visitors entering the manufacturing area with proper
protective equipment.
- Direct callers to destination. Provides callers with
information such as company address, directions to the company
location, company website and other related information.
- Conducts initial contact and intake with internal customer
concerns and directs to applicable HR personnel as necessary.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail and monitors bulletin
boards for posting that must go up or come down.
- Orders, receives, stocks and maintains office supplies.
- Processes termination checklists in Plex and other systems and
files all necessary paperwork.
- Manages the attendance program, including issuing points and
distributing warnings to supervisors.
- Scans paperwork into the appropriate personnel folders on a
timely basis.
- Completes various employee-related paperwork as requested.
- Participates in various Human Resource Projects
- Lead employee recognition programs and participate in activity
committees
- Assist in hiring processes such as screening applications,
scheduling interviews, and interviewing candidates.
- Assists with various data entry projects with multiple
departments.
- Maintains an accurate list of available lockers and ensures
lockers are prepped and ready for the next occupant.
- Coordinate the set-up and clean-up for on-site meetings,
luncheons, and events; including stocking and taking inventory of
refreshments.
- Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for
work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety
Program.
- Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with
continuous improvement goals and the values of DSB Technologies,
LLC which includes following the policies, procedures, and
requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental
Management Systems
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.Qualifications
and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6 –
12 months related work experience and/or training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.Experience competitive
