.NET/C# Developer Job in Chicago, IL

Job Description:

Modis Chicago has an excellent PERMANENT opportunity for one of the nation's top banking companies located in downtown Chicago!  This is a permanent position, so only candidates eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship will be considered.  This C# (4.0) Developer will be working side-by-side with the back office team, so a basic understanding of accounting/finance is required.
 
The project will be converting/re-engineering an application from ASP to WCF/WPF.  
 


  • 3-10 years of experience
  • C# 4.0
  • WCF/WPF is preferred but not required
  • Agile experience
  • Good interpersonal skills; these technology groups sit side by side with the business functions so need to be able to talk to non-technical users occasionally.
  • SQL Server experience
  • Requiring this person to have some sort of accounting application, previously working with a back office function or has basic accounting knowledge (AP, AR, GL, income sheet, balance statement…etc)
