most complex projects in the world. The role: The Traveling
Scanning Technician plays a vital role in supporting VIATechnik's
Reality Capture Team by delivering high-quality, on-site visual
documentation through 360°ree; photography, Matterport
scanning, still photography and drone imagery. This role is both
technical and creative, balancing field precision with visual
storytelling to document built environments across the U.S. What's

scanning expertise will help major clients visualize progress, plan

You'll gain proficiency in Matterport scanning, drone operation,
and photogrammetry, with opportunities to grow into advanced
Reality Capture, BIM, or visualization roles within VIATechnik.

world is documented and digitized. What You'll Achieve in Your
First 12 Months: Execute accurate and efficient reality capture
across the U.S. Deliver high-quality visual content that elevates
client deliverables, ensuring consistent lighting, framing, and
focus across multiple site types. Manage field operations, travel,
and logistics smoothly. Collaborate cross-functionally with
internal teams. Elevate reality capture standards through
innovation and learning. Apply if you have: Experience in
Matterport scanning. Experience in still photography and drone
photography. FAA Part 107 certification for commercial drone
operation, or ability to quickly attain certification. Exceptional
technical proficiency with photography equipment, drones, and
related software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to
manage travel schedules and deliverables effectively. Excellent
attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality
work. A valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation,
and the ability to travel extensively by car, for multiple weeks at
a time. Even better if you have: Experience working in the
architecture, engineering, construction industry and building
systems. Knowledge of 3D modeling or photogrammetry tools.
Experience with client-facing or customer service roles or the
ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation and featured benefits: The pay for this position is
$60,000 to $70,000 annually , and the role is eligible for bonuses
and work-related travel expense reimbursement. The actual salary
offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of
factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and
location. Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We
cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 70% of the premiums for

insurance premiums for VIATechies and 50% of the premiums for
