Job Description:
SHINE is looking for an exceptionally talented and capable
paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This position will be
responsible for providing paralegal guidance, direction and support
to facilitate the effective handling of legal matters, primarily in
the areas of corporate governance, regulatory and contractual
compliance, and general departmental administration. This includes
researching, drafting, preparing, organizing and maintaining legal
documents, forms, and other related information. This position
provides support to attorneys and other members of our leadership

Responsibilities: Assist with corporate secretarial functions,
including production and distribution of Board materials,
maintenance of Board records, and drafting of Board agendas,
resolutions, and minutes; Assist with the preparation of
declarations, applications, and filings for various governmental
agencies; Maintain legal entities, including compliance with filing
requirements, annual reports, annual meetings, D&O lists for
subsidiaries, and assist in formations, mergers, and dissolutions
as requested; Assist with preparation of legal documents, including
agreements, reports and correspondence; Assist in maintaining the
IP portfolio and preparing associated filings with the U.S. Patent
& Trademark Office; Organize, analyze, and validate information
with high-visibility to our leadership team and the Board of
Directors, including checking and editing legal forms and documents
for accuracy and completeness; Build and maintain files and data
rooms to meet corporate obligations; Perform supplemental legal and
factual research from time to time, identifying relevant judicial
decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes and other pertinent
materials; Protect employee, customer and corporate information,
following established safeguards; and, Assist with departmental
administration, including managing the annual budget and corporate
goals processes. Requirements: Must complete projects by applicable
deadlines, and must be proactive, and prioritize and take ownership
of the projects and tasks assigned by the General Counsel or
internal clients; Must have strong organizational, analytical,
project and process management and written and verbal communication
skills; Must be able to understand substantive legal concepts,
legal research and documents, contracts, procedures and
terminology; Must thrive on the challenge of a fast-paced
environment and meet multiple demands simultaneously; Must have
meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product; Minimum
3 years of experience at a law firm, in-house, or combination of
both; Bachelor---s degree and paralegal certificate preferred;
Knowledge/experience in one or more relevant substantive areas
(corporate governance, commercial matters, securities, IP, etc.);
and, Ability to make judgments with limited guidance, identify
issues, and escalate matters as appropriate. Eligibility for
employment is conditioned on the applicant---s ability to qualify
for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls.
Additionally, applicant---s eligibility may be conditioned based
upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for
access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a
pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background
