Job Description Job Description Job Title: Material Handler Job Description The Material Handler will be responsible for various tasks related to handling and organizing materials within the warehouse and yard. This includes unloading trucks, using forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials, preparing orders for shipping, completing inventory counts, and assisting with organization of materials within the yard. Responsibilities Unload steel trucks and customer delivery trucks. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment Palletize and wrap items for secure storage and transport. Conduct regular warehouse inventories to ensure accurate stock levels. Maintain organization in the yard to optimize space and safety. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in material handling highly preferred Forklift operating experience required Experience using overhead cranes preferred Why Work Here? Work Environment The role involves working in a warehouse and yard setting, utilizing equipment such as sit-down forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and a focus on maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Fond Du Lac, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
