This position involves the safe and efficient transport of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with both U.S. and Canadian transportation regulations. The role requires meticulous adherence to safety protocols, with a strong commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability. Operate Class A tankers across U.S. and Canadian borders safely and in compliance with all regulations and laws. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of hazardous materials, maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental policies. Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Prepare and maintain accurate transport documents and logs according to regulatory and company requirements. Report any incidents or accidents immediately, and participate in emergency response activities as needed. Engage in continuous learning about hazardous materials handling and emergency response. Proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles A strong understanding of DOT and hazardous material transport regulations Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with cross-border transportation practices Effective communication and documentation skills Ability to handle emergency situations with composure and efficiency Medical Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement Clean driving record FAST (Free and Secure Trade) Card preferred TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certification required for Canadian routes
