This position requires compliance with both U.S. and Canadian transportation regulations, meticulous adherence to safety protocols, and a dedication to excellence in service. Safely operate a Class A tanker across regional borders, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Transport hazardous materials, ensuring secure loading, unloading, and timely delivery. Maintain accurate records of driving logs, vehicle maintenance, and incident reports. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in good working order. Communicate effectively with dispatch and compliance teams to ensure updates on routes and delivery schedules. Adhere to all safety protocols while handling and transporting dangerous goods. Provide excellent customer service, representing Clean Harbors' commitment to professionalism and environmental responsibility. Proficiency in operating Class A tankers Knowledge of HAZMAT procedures and emergency response Strong navigation and trip planning skills Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities Capability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Medical Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements Clean driving record Completion of a DOT physical examination FAST Card (Free and Secure Trade Program)—preferred for cross-border operations
