Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join their team. As a Transport Coordinator, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting Sample Management and Internal Distribution teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Transport Coordinator Location: Beloit, WI Pay Range: $20/hr Shift: 1st Shift - 8AM - 5PM What's the Job? Manage the logistics, documentation, and movement of product samples, raw materials, and finished goods within the company's facilities. Coordinate with courier services such as DHL and UPS for sample dispatch and delivery. Raise purchase orders in SAP for courier services and lab consumables, maintaining accurate tracking systems. Assist the QA team with tasks including retrieving damaged goods, auditing packaging lines, and managing inventory samples. Ensure the sample room is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials, following GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols. What's Needed? Typically 3-5 years of experience in logistics, mailroom, or laboratory roles within a food manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with SAP. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to lift, handle, and transport samples, parcels, and raw materials safely. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and safety protocols. What's in it for me?
