Job Description Job Description Job Title: Blender Job Description The Blender is responsible for utilizing a Batch Record, akin to a cooking recipe, to blend various ingredients. The role involves retrieving materials from inventory and mixing both dry and wet ingredients in stainless steel vats. Responsibilities Stage materials according to batch ticket requirements. Ensure quality assurance and quality control of products. Adhere to HACCP and SQF standards. Sanitize equipment and production lines. Essential Skills Basic math skills Experience in blending or working within FDA-regulated environments Strong attention to detail Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-5 years of experience within a GMP facility. 1-5 years of experience with mixing operations. 1-5 years of experience working off of batch tickets. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. Experience with sanitation processes, including CIP systems. Work Environment The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday. The work takes place in a liquid processing beverage facility, specifically in the blending room where dry and sugar ingredients are mixed. The air in the room may have a sugary taste, which could be a concern for some individuals. The team is experienced and expects new employees to train quickly and work diligently. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
