Job Description Job Description General Manufacturing Associate 1 If you are mechanically included, can work safely and efficiently as part of a team and are looking for an opportunity to grow, a role as a Fisher Barton General Manufacturing Associate might be for you. General Manufacturing Associates learn skills in one or more Production areas – such as: packaging, warehouse, straightening, broaching, facilities, and grit blasting. This role is a great introduction to Production at Fisher Barton. At Level 1, You will: Produce, inspect, or package product following work instructions Ensure materials are labeled and packaged properly Accurately complete daily production and quality paperwork Enter data into the computer systems on time Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of working areas May operate forklift and/or overhead crane to safely move materials The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Basic math skills Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience working in a manufacturing environment Physical | Visual Demands: Ability to stand 8-12 hours a day Ability to sit, stand, squat and bend Reach overhead with one or both arms Repetitive movement of lifting and placing parts on machines / up to 15 pounds Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work Environment: Manufacturing: Loud (Examples: metal can, manufacturing department, large earth moving equipment) The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of environmental conditions.
