We have new openings for permanent, Direct Hire Maintenance opening in Janesville, WI - if interested please send your resume to ANGP465@kellyservices.com------- --Pay: $23 - $27- possibly higher based on experience + 1.5% over time and DBL time for Sundays and holidays + 8 hours holiday pay 4th of July and Labor Day.--------- --Location : Janesville, WI--Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run.--Responsibilities:--------- --Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility--------- --Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required--------- --Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work--------- --Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required--------- --Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed--------- --Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments--------- --Ensure that GMP's (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced--------- --Machines: Blanchard's, Cookers (sends can through cookers and cooks product), and conveyors.--Qualifications:--------- --At least 1 - 3 years mechanical experience in manufacturing and/or food processing--------- --Mig, tig, mill, and lathe exp. Fab- great for this role, will succeed and move up quickly------- --Diesel/automotive Mechanics transfer well in to these roles------- --Must have good attention to detail and accuracy------- -- Strong maintenance/mechanical skills--------- --Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment--------- --Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally --- Ability to work with all levels of the organization--------- --Ability to work long hours during production season------- --June through Oct- lots of OT- hours 6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am maybe 530 to 530- 2.5 months on days, 2.5 on nights- possibly can choose- preference and availability.--------- --Oct through May M-F or M-Th, day shift- hours? 6:30 am to 4:30 pm or 6:30 am to 2:30/3:30 pm - some plants offer both, then mechanic can choose.
