Works on problems of moderate to diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires a detailed review of factors and issues involving integrated applications. Assist in the planning of system integration by working with vendors, IS services staff and clients to scope, develop, document and implement technical standards for system infrastructure. Consults with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and make recommendations and determinations on which software functions to implement and on how to most effectively utilize the software applications. Prepares basic project plans, communication plans, and maintains issues lists and other required documents related to a moderate or large project. Advanced working knowledge of relational database master files, interfaces to 3rd party software, technical and operational functions of all applications, and query building. Plays a lead role in the evaluation and implementation of software fixes, updates and new releases. Works closely with vendors, customers and project teams to understand specific application needs and requirements. Follow and enforce team standards and quality assurances.# Perform rigorous quality assurance validation to ensure high quality products are released. Education and Experience Bachelor#s Degree in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of degree 8-10 years minimum of insurance claims and information systems experience equivalent will be considered. 5 years# experience working in health insurance administration, or similar experience working in clinic financial billing. In lieu of direct health care experience, a Master#s Degree in computer science with 2 years# experience implementing complex business systems is acceptable. Demonstrated high level ability with analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) protocols. Knowledge of hospital # professional provider billing methodologies. Knowledge of medical # pharmacy claim coding methodologies. Proficient in use of Microsoft office products. Certifications/Licensure Epic Certification Required: Department approved certification must be maintained. Approved certifications include: SQL, or Doc Path configuration, or Extol mapping, or PowerMHS benefit configuration. Relevant certification in the supported areas is encouraged. Example, certifications for medical coding, Microsoft office. ################### Special Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and kneel or crouch. Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

In lieu of degree 8-10 years minimum of insurance claims and information systems experience equivalent will be considered.

5 years' experience working in health insurance administration, or similar experience working in clinic financial billing.
