Job Description:
Job DescriptionYOUAs an Aviation Line Service Tech, you will be
responsible for fueling aircraft, moving aircraft, marshalling
aircraft, greeting passengers, cleaning aircraft, cleaning FBO
facilities including offices, restrooms and hangars, and assisting
all other Carver Aero departments as needed. Thats year one. If

with that, but its also what we love to do.WHAT YOULL BE DOING (%
of Time) Fuel truck responsibilities: Properly handling all
aircraft fuel requests in a safe and timely manner. Communicating
with the front desk staff through handheld radios to report fuel
orders and transfer necessary information. Recording all fuel
orders on the designated fuel boards located in each aviation fuel
truck. Using and maintaining the Aviation Fuel Trucks.
(30%)Aircraft related responsibilities: Assisting the Carver Aero
Flight School; by pulling trainer aircraft to FBO ramp for lessons,
fueling aircrafts when needed, adding oil at pilots request and
cleaning aircraft windshields. Assisting the Marshalling and
parking all incoming aircraft on the FBO ramp. (30%)FBO general
responsibilities: Opening FBO for daily operations; turning on
lobby lights, unlocking lobby doors. Closing the FBO at the end of
each day; locking all doors in each building, shutting off lobby
lights. (15%)Miscellaneous tasks: Stacking and unstacking the FBO
storage hangars as needed for each days flights. Checking and
keeping track of all scheduled charter, trainer, and transit
flights/aircraft. Being prepared to handle all nonscheduled
charter, trainer, and transit flights/aircraft. Maintaining all
Carver Aero Vehicles; Crew Cars, the Tug Tractors and Ground Power
Unit. (15%)Pilot assistance: Assisting pilots; with chocks,
luggage, customer rental cars, fuel and any other needed tasks.
(10%)DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.Must be 18 years of age
required.Current drivers license is required High school diploma or
GED is required.Ability to learn aircraft call signs and general
aviation terms.Ability to Communicate professionally through
handheld radios with other departments.Legible handwriting when
completing company documents.Ability to work on your feet for
extended periods of time (standing for periods and walking long
distances.)Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.Desire
and ability to work outside in all types of weather and
conditions.Ability to climb ladders at least 10 feet high, to fuel
aircraft and get on top of fuel trucks.Ability to operate company
motor vehicles with safety as the primary goal.Basic computer
skills.Ability to do simple math quickly either in ones head or on
