Partner of Engineering Basic Capital, the Assistant Project Officer
(APO) is responsible for ensuring basic capital programs meet
Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) control guidelines.Main
ResponsibilitiesAuditing--- Act as a key line of defense and point
of contact on SOX issues in Basic Capital, proactively working with
Engineering management and field employees--- Identify, document
and correct apparent SOX issues within capital programs--- Where
SOX rules are not definitive, take the conservative course while
evaluating the appropriateness of escalation through finance or
accountingCoaching and Training--- Provide guidance and training to
EngineeringReporting--- Liaison to the Engineering AVP or Chief on
SOX failures and correction steps--- Answer to internal and
external audit on their findings Working ConditionsThe role
requires minimal travel (10%) and occasional work outside of
working hours. The dress code is business
casual.RequirementsExperienceEngineering, Finance or Audit---

experienceEducation/Certification/Designation--- High School
Diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma
