COMPANY OVERVIEW
Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to
unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America's
oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of
infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation
and the growth of resilient cities.
Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the
first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the
US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and
pursue a growth strategy across the region.
The newly listed company will become North America's leading
building solutions company, with industry-leading market position
to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced
building solutions from foundation to rooftop.
Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Real Estate is charged with managing the Company's land
portfolio across Canada and the United States, including land
acquisitions, lease management, and development projects related to
the Company's operations. This individual will lead a team to
ensure proper title, manage relationships with landowners, and
develop strategies for long-term growth. The scope includes active
sites, organic growth in our operating businesses, greenfield
exploration, and acquisition opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Business or Finance, Real Estate,
Economics, Accounting, or similar field
Required Work Experience: 12+ years of progressive advancement in
real estate required
Required Computer and Software Skills: GIS software is a plus
Travel Requirements: 50%
