Are you looking for a career filled with purpose and the opportunity to make an impactful difference by providing affordable housing to those in need?If so, we are seeking a Recertification and Occupancy Specialist for our affordable housing community, South Shore On The Park in Chicago, IL, managing HUD Project Based Section 8 and LIHTC properties.Compensation

• $22.00-$24.00 per hour

    • Utilize organizational skills to provide top-tier affordable housing services
    • Create a welcoming environment through daily resident interactions
    • Process certifications (initial, interim, annual), calculate retroactive rent, and ensure guideline compliance
    • Collect documentation and process verifications
    • Apply correct rents, review and finalize HUD 50059 forms
    • Prepare rent repayment agreements and explain calculations to residents
    • Review EIV reports and resolve discrepancies
    • Maintain accuracy and manage multiple projects efficiently
    • Work independently in a high-volume environment
    • Support site and office operations as assignedQualificationsRequired:
      • Experience processing high-volume HUD Project Based Section 8 and/or LIHTC certificationsPreferred:
        • Real Page One Site experience
        • Notary public certification
