Job DescriptionTeam Lead: This position is focused on the day to day operations involved with running a corn seed research site. The applicant will need to work both independently and lead a crew in a multiple different task, both in a warehouse and field setting. High attention to detail, dependability and excellent work ethic are all required. Applicants will also need to be able to pick up new tasks quickly as work duties will change several times throughout the year. This position is based in Janesville, WI.Starting Wage: $15.00/hourKnowledge, Skills, & Experience• Critical experience:o Agronomy training preferredo Forklift and agriculture equipment experience preferred• Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities:o Ability to use MS Office softwareo Ability to learn and use proprietary softwareo Ability to work in a team and to communicate with otherso Ability and motivation to learn new technologieso Ability to exercise judgement within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions• Additional Information:o Applicant must hold a valid US driver’s license• Physical Demands of the Essential Functions:o Capable of working in high or low temperatures in the fieldo Capable of lifting 50 poundso Capable of working long hours during time-critical periods of the growing season• Working Conditions while Performing Essential Functions:o Mostly field setting and warehouse setting with some office worko Local travel to yield trial locations (Wisconsin and northern Illinois)o Potential allergens –pollen, fungal spores, chemical pesticidesCompany DescriptionAt Manpower we are dedicated to enriching people's lives with meaningful employment and development opportunities, as we have done for more than 60 years.
