Job Description:

Impact Confections now owned by KUA Candy is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for its Janesville, Wisconsin facility. We currently have a 1st Shift the hours are 6:00am to 3:00pm. Monday through Friday. Weekends may be required during peak season.Job Summary
Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, lubrication, and repairs on plant production equipment and machineryEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance per equipment schedules
Perform work orders, repairs on production equipment
Write work orders and parts requisitions, as needed, as per PM inspections and routine maintenance. Research and specify new replacement parts and mechanical improvements
Follow and observe all plant GMP(s), SOP(s), Rules and Safety Regulations
Demonstrate a commitment to food safety and continuous improvements
All other duties as assigned

Technical School Certificate or Associate's Degree, plus 3 year's related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language and Communication Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
Computer Skills, Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel. Ability to learn other application software essential to performing job tasks.Physical Demands
