Job Description:
Responsibilities:-Sets up the equipment for the processing of
fiber according to established production procedures and schedules.
Reviews production tickets to confirm order, check specifications
and ensure material is processed properly.-Operates the equipment
for the processing of the work order. Understands the proper set-up
procedures of all equipment, performs routine checks of equipment
and reports any maintenance issues to appropriate
personnel.-Performs required quality control checks on fiber coming
into the department, as it is processed within the department and
leaving the department.-Completes all associated paperwork and
reports any quality issues immediately to appropriate
personnel.-Ensures that fiber failing to meet established quality
standards does not proceed for further processing unless
authorized.-Understands and adheres to all department and company
policies, procedures, and work rules. Follows safety policies and
rules, performs in a safe manner, and works to foster a safe
working environment.-Provides training for other employees on
department responsibilities, including quality control and safety
issues. Provides feedback on the performance of trainees and
temporary employees to supervisory personnel.-Performs general
housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe working environment in the
