customers.Purpose of Your Work:As a Senior Director of Business
Development working within Redwood Multimodal (one of our entities)
you will develop strategies that result in meeting/exceeding
revenue / net revenue / volume goals for assigned teams and
customer accounts.How You Make a Difference Everyday:
- Create strategic business development growth plans for all Hub
accounts, and manage accountability within the Hub BD teams to
execute on these plans
- Manage the successful onboarding of new business into the Hubs
and work effectively with the sales team to create alignment
between the teams
- Execute annual, monthly and weekly plans and goals to ensure
each direct report understands their goals at Redwood
- Lead weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to set
expectations, review results, provide tools, recommendations and
training to employees to ensure budget goals can be met
- Manage direct reports' incentive plans and tracking, PTO
requests, performance management, and career development
- Coordinate customer expectations with Operations teams to
ensure alignment with specified accounts
- Implement procedures for specified accounts that contribute
toward healthy billing and accounts receivable and issue resolution
for assigned accounts

- Minimum 5 years' experience working in the logistics industry,
ideally within a freight brokerage environment, with 2 or more
years' experience in management function of operations, sales
and/or business development teams
- Demonstrated effectiveness in negotiation, communication,
problem-solving, leadership and networking
- Ability to drive results within a fast-paced, dynamic work

hybrid Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour
break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.Compensation
Range:$65,000 - $105,000This position is eligible to earn monthly
incentives based on individual and company performance.The
estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this
position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety
of factors, including the qualifications of the individual
applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific
and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or
other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in
which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the
